Oct 31, 2013 · Everything seems to work fine i can ping the gw from the server, i can ping 8.8.8.8 www.google.se etc.. Ping and Dns resolutions seems to work fine. But that is the only thing working. A ping utility sends test messages from the local client to a remote target over the TCP/IP network connection. So on the host normal internet access is available and the guest machine is available via network. (I can even ssh into the VM from the host.) What I tried additionally: iptables -F on the host; What am I missing? On the Mac machine it works without problems (in the same network). Is something missing in the iptables configuration? I can actually ping Google.com through the command prompt but not with Chrome. Please let me know what could be wrong and whether I need to change anything in Windows to solve it.
